Just Another Call



the worst thing they did eh yung tumawag sila dito sa office and telling me na siya daw si P/Insp. Frankie Ocampo from western police district and informing me na on the way na daw yung mga tauhan niya at may dalang "warant of arrest" sa akin at sabi pa para daw hindi magkaroon ng commotion dito sa opisina namin eh sumama na lang daw ako ng maayos sa mga tauhan niya or better yet tawagan ko daw itong si Atty. Macario Macalintal sa ganitong number kasi daw siya daw yung nagfile ng case against me...well, that was the last straw, i did not feel terrified but i feel anger, galit na galit talaga ko kasi foul na talaga yung ginawa nila na yun, so i decided to fight back...i called the western police district and here's how it goes...

wpd : good morning; wpd may i help you?

me: hello, may i speak with this certain P/Insp. Frankie Ocampo.

wpd: sorry mam wala po kaming ganyang pangalan dito.

me: sigurado ka?

wpd: yes mam, ano po ba problema?

me: pano may tumawag dito sa office namin and told me na siya daw si P/Insp. na taga wpd and papunta na daw yung mga tauhan dito sa office namin na may dalang warrant of arrest for me, kaya tinatanong ko kung ano kaso ko eh may ibinigay siyang pangalan ng atty. at tawagan ko daw kasi yun ang nagfile ng kaso sa akin.

wpd: naku mam, wag ka maniwala dun baka may gusto lang sayo yun at di mo pinapansin kaya nagpapansin.

me: hay naku yung tarantadong yun bat kailangan pa niya ako takutin ng ganon!

wpd: naku mam, wag mo intindihin yun, unang-una, hindi po namin itinatawag sa taong aarestuhin namin nay may warrant of arrest siya edi binigyan namin siya ng chance na makatakas...tsaka kung wala naman kayong pinapatay na tao eh bat naman namin kayo aarestuhin di ba?

me: oo nga sir, pacensiya na sa abala, magandang araw na lang po.

wpd: teka muna miss, sabi mo'y may iniwan na pangalan at contact number yung pekeng pulis na tumawag sayo. ibigay mo nga sa aki at tatawagan ko, aba'y hindi pwede yan ganyang ginagamit nila departamento namin para lang manakot ng tao, akina at ng makastigo..

me: wag na sir, salamat nalang po ako na lang kakastigo...

so, hayun tinawagan ko talaga yung atty na yun at pinagmumura ko lahat sila dun, ipinasa pasa pa niya sa ibang agents yung phone edi lahat sila nakarinig ng mura sa kin...hehehe...until now i never heard from them...well siguro ibebenta na lang nila sa iba info ko at may panibago na naman manghaharass sa kin, but i never worry about that anymore, all i have to do is say the magic word : "SUE ME!"

Collection Common Sense



I find it funny when a collector calls,
then when you ask for a Statement of Account,
i-refer ka sa banko.

when you collect, siempre you have an amount
to collect, right?
if wala siyang Statement of Account, saan pala
niya kinuha yung amount ng umano utang mo?
common sense.

Worse pa, they will charge you per page daw?
their idea of an SOA is yung monthly billing statement
mo! isn't it rather stupid?

try asking for your latest statement of account from
PLDT or MERALCO.
would they give you print-outs of your monthly billings?
common sense.

so, next time you ask for your Statement of Account
to prove how much is your debt, ask the collector this
question - Saan mo pala kinuha yung amount na yun?
common sense.

10. Good morning, this is City Bank
Want to find out? try calling your bank. chances are, you will be referred back to the caller - a collection agency!

9.Good morning, this is litigation department of City Bank
No such thing. its either legal department or remedial management department.or its a Collection Agency!

8. Good morning, we are offering an "Amnesty Program"
It's more of a Fantasy Program. How can there be an amnesty if your account is already written off?

7. We will sue you!
If they do it, they would no longer be called a collection agency, magiging Suing Agency na!

6. You are liable under RA 8484
you forget to read the last line " ..if evidence warrants..." there is none

5. We have conducted "ocular inspection"
This is being done by Appraisers not collectors

4. We will file " preliminary writ of attachments"
legal ek-ek. you have no properties anyway

You cannot "hold" it. only the Judge can

Sue Me - Ang Sagot Sa Panloloko



Many times we are afraid that we will get sued.
Read on if you still want to pay them, instead of settling it in court

A representative from collection office called me and forced me to pay a certain amount. We negotiated and the amount was reduce to Php5000.She said that after that my billings will return to normal. I even asked for easy installment she said she will call me with the details.She never did, I always called their office but she always say"cge po icheck natin ung acct nyo."

Then my billing came and ung ibinayad ko ay napunta lng sa interest and there was no installment indicated. I called them up and cnabi nila na nkaleave daw ung may hawak ng account ko.Everytime I called gnon ang cncsbi nila.

Then another agent told me na kulang daw and ibinayd ko kya klangan daw bayaran the whole amount or mgissue daw ako ng 6 postdated checks to settle my acct.6 mos lang daw ang longest period nila to settle.The nerve of that woman.

Then I received another letter from a different agency saying this things about RA8484.If my calculation serves me right matagal ng bayad ung princiapal ko.Interest na lng binabayaran ko.
